The Malaysia F1 GP was a great race and also one the most difficult one. The temperature was around 35C and I bet it was around 60-62C in the cockpit of the car. Way too hot for me. Alonso and Hamilton got a great start with some luck and took the first and second place right from the start and kept their spots through out the entire race. Masa was chasing Hamilton but made a big misstake early in the race and ended up at fifth place eventualy just behind Heidfelt who did his best race in a very long time. Kimi was chasing Hamilton but couldn’t find the space to pass by and at the end the difference between those two was less than 1 second.
I have to admit that I’m very suprised about the rookie Hamilton’s performance so far. This is his second race in F1 and he already took his second top three place. Amazing. I think this guy really can be the next star in F1.
Results:
Alonso
Hamilton
Kimi R

Today I spend my time watching the first F1 race this season on my 50″ TV. What a difference it was from my old 32″. And I guess my neighbours wont like me to much since I hooked up the system to my Sony receiver and my speakers. If I cant be at the location and watch the race live at least I can maybe get the feeling of beeing there this way.
It will be intresting to see what will happen to the FERRARI team now when Michael Schumacher retired. Kimi Räikkönen joined Ferrari team and together with Masa I think they will make sure that Ferrari will win again.
The winner of the Australien Grand Prix today was Kimi Räikkönen, followed by Alonso and on third place was Lewis Hamilton. This was Hamiltons debut in F1 and he did a great job.

Next race is in Malaysia on April 8. Go Ferrari!!!!
